Table For Two

Erin & Chris are no strangers to eating, and have enjoyed a variety of cuisines from across the country. In fact, between the two of them, they bring over 60 years of daily eating experiences to the table. And now, they bring their unbiased palates and witty anecdotes, to bring you unique reviews of Charm City restaurants in a regular City Living Source – Baltimore feature, “Table For Two.”

Erin & Chris both hail from different parts of Pennsylvania. Erin was exposed primarily to pierogies and sausages, while Chris grew up on PA Dutch-influenced cuisine, scrapple and Taskycakes. Both give their seal of approval to Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh, a variety of Philly cheese steak joints, the fine lager made by Yuengling, and anything available for purchase at the Utz Factory Store.

Chris became a Baltimore resident in 1999 with a desire to join “the real world” and walk to Baltimore Orioles’ games. He is your typical beer/steak/wings kind of guy, and he stocks an impressive popsicle assortment in his freezer.

Erin moved to the area in 2000 to pursue a career in teaching. She is your typical wine/tuna steak/calamari kind of girl, and she prides herself with making a mean plate of “macho nachos.”

The two were introduced by a mutual friend at a Fells Point watering hole in December 2001 and married a few years later. Since then, they have built a successful union that revolves around socializing, sports, and detective shows.

Popsicles and macho nachos aside, the two take pleasure doing what most couples enjoy doing - dining out in one of our city’s great neighborhoods, experiencing new surroundings, and trying a signature dish or a recommended bottle of wine.

In their dining reviews, you will not find a detailed examination of the chef and how he over-spices the daily fish special or how a waitress forgot to bring a soup spoon. But, you will find an entertaining commentary on what one couple would like you to foresee when venturing into the many culinary delights throughout Baltimore City.

Whether they are feasting on a filet in Canton Square, salivating over sushi in Federal Hill, devouring old bay wings in Fells Point or munching on mussels in Little Italy – they will give you an entertaining taste of their complete dining experience.

Erin & Chris invite you to join them on a personal, tasty trip that will leave you wanting more. “Table For Two”… an experience to savor!
